Software Engineer / Developer (All Levels) – UK Wide

About the role

We are seeking experienced Software Engineers and Developers at all seniority levels to join UK‑based teams. The role can be on‑site, hybrid or fully remote, and you will design, build and ship production‑grade software that real users rely on.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with product, design and stakeholders to scope features and translate them into technical work.
• Design, develop and ship services, APIs, web applications and supporting systems.
• Write clean, well‑tested, well‑documented code and participate in code reviews.
• Build resilient, observable systems with monitoring, alerting and operational tooling.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation and infrastructure‑as‑code.
• Identify and address technical debt, performance bottlenecks and reliability issues.
• For senior roles: lead technical design, mentor engineers and set engineering standards.

Required profile

• Strong problem‑solving mindset and ability to break large problems into shippable steps.
• Commitment to code quality, testing discipline and documentation.
• Willingness to stay close to the product and understand user needs.

Required skills

• Proficiency in one or more languages: Python, Java, Kotlin, Go, C#/.NET, TypeScript/Node, Ruby, PHP, Scala, Rust.
• Experience with modern frameworks such as Spring.NET, Django, FastAPI, Rails, Express/NestJS, Laravel, React, Vue, Next.js, Angular.
• Solid understanding of REST and/or GraphQL API design.
• Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases, including query design and schema modelling.
• Familiarity with containerisation (Docker) and basic Kubernetes orchestration.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP or Azure).
• Test automation skills: unit, integration and end‑to‑end testing.
• Strong Git‑based workflows and CI/CD experience.
