Software Engineer – Educational Technology

About the role

The Raspberry Pi Foundation is seeking a Software Engineer to help create digital learning experiences for young people and educators. You will work on products such as the Projects site, Code Club platform, and online experiences for Astro Pi and Coolest Projects. The role offers the chance to make a real impact on hundreds of thousands of learners worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Build products, platforms, and services that deliver valuable learning experiences.
• Collaboratively deliver high‑quality, measurable software using test‑driven development.
• Write elegant, secure code and contribute to code‑quality improvements.
• Work with engineers and managers to refine processes and architecture.
• Help plan product development through technical analysis and architectural evaluation.

Required profile

• Professional experience as a Software Engineer, preferably with a focus on web technologies.
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly and a commitment to user‑focused outcomes.
• Openness to flexible working arrangements (full‑time, part‑time, or flexible).
• Eligibility to work in the UK.
