Software Engineer – Full Stack Development

About the role

AJ Bell is seeking a motivated Software Engineer to join its cross‑functional Agile team. You will work on a variety of technology stacks, delivering services and APIs that power our investment platform.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain C#‑based services and APIs.
• Collaborate with product owners to deliver items from the enterprise backlog.
• Write clean, secure code and follow best practices for version control and CI/CD.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Strong experience with C# and .NET development.
• Proficiency in relational and NoSQL databases.
• Understanding of secure development practices.
• Experience using Git and CI tools such as Jenkins.
• Familiarity with front‑end frameworks like React or Angular.
• Ability to work effectively in an Agile and DevOps environment.
