Software Engineer – Full Stack (Java, Python, Vue/React)

About the role

We are looking for a hands‑on Full Stack Software Engineer to join a fast‑growing industrial software business in London. You will work on greenfield services and production workloads, collaborating closely with DevOps, data scientists and product managers.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement REST APIs, services and ETL pipelines using Java (Spring/Spring Boot) and Python (FastAPI).
• Collaborate on cloud infrastructure, data modelling, testing and system performance monitoring (logs, alerts, metrics).
• Work on both new greenfield designs and existing legacy code, ensuring reliability and scalability.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of professional development experience.
• Strong background in backend development with Java, Spring Boot and Python.
• Experience building front‑end interfaces with modern frameworks such as Vue.js or React.
• Hands‑on experience with AWS, test‑driven development and handling large data sets.
• Legal right to work permanently in the UK.
