Software Engineer – Full‑Stack Python Developer (Hybrid, London)

About the role

We are looking for a hands‑on Software Engineer to join our Technology and Data team in central London. You will build and maintain internal tools, automations and data‑driven systems that keep the business running, with a short feedback loop between your code and its impact.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor, debug and improve live production systems, taking full ownership of what you ship.
• Design, build and deploy full‑stack web applications and internal tooling used daily across the business.
• Write clean, well‑structured Python for APIs, backend services and data pipelines.
• Deploy and manage applications in cloud environments, ensuring reliability and performance.
• Use containerisation tools (e.g., Docker) to package and run services consistently.
• Collaborate with the wider team to build data infrastructure that supports reporting and analysis.
• Participate in technical design discussions and code reviews as the platform evolves.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of commercial software development experience.
• Strong Python skills and comfort writing scripts, services and APIs.
• Working knowledge of cloud deployment.
• Solid experience with both front‑end and back‑end development.
• Problem‑solving mindset and ability to thrive in a small, fast‑moving team.
• Clear communication with technical and non‑technical colleagues.
