Software Engineer – HPC / Distributed Systems (Prop Trading)

About the role

Join a fast‑growing proprietary trading firm that is building a brand‑new central trading team from the ground up. You will help create a best‑in‑class, GPU‑driven platform that redefines how alpha is generated, working in a greenfield environment with strong autonomy.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement high‑performance computing and distributed systems for research and trading.
• Develop and maintain GPU‑heavy workloads, distributed training pipelines and MapReduce‑style processing.
• Collaborate within a pod‑like structure to shape the research stack and influence strategic direction.
• Integrate and optimise tools such as Ray, Spark, Dask and Kubernetes for ML clusters.

Required profile

• Proven experience with HPC or distributed systems in a production environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to solve complex problems independently.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative attitude.
