Software Engineer

About the role

Covecta is building an Agentic AI platform for financial institutions. As a Software Engineer you will help scale the product that powers configurable agents and workflows used by banks and lenders across the UK and US.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and ship features across the full stack, from the configuration studios to the runtime services.
• Build and maintain durable backend services, clean APIs, and integration layers that connect to external and internal banking systems.
• Collaborate closely with product managers and AI engineers to iterate quickly, ship early, and refine functionality based on user feedback.
• Implement human‑in‑the‑loop interfaces that allow users to review, approve, and correct automated actions.
• Ensure reliability, scalability, and security of the platform as the customer base grows.

Required profile

• Strong interest in AI‑driven platforms for the financial services sector.
• Ability to work end‑to‑end on features and take ownership of delivered code.
• Comfort collaborating with cross‑functional teams, including product and AI specialists.
