Software Engineer – Market Data

About the role

TradingHub is looking for a Software Engineer to design, build and maintain its market‑data environment and associated analytics. You will work alongside pricing quants and risk strategists to productionise financial market data and continuously improve the service.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, support and productionise data and analytics that power TradingHub’s products.
• Research and implement data‑storage and processing techniques for large data sets.
• Contribute to new tools for data lineage, governance and reporting.
• Utilise the in‑house big‑data language for large‑scale modelling and analysis.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve critical production issues.

Required profile

• Industry software‑engineering experience, preferably within financial services.
• Proficiency in C#, Python, Java or similar languages.
• Good knowledge of database design and data structures.
• Experience with SQL‑related technologies.
• Knowledge of AWS services such as ECS, S3, DynamoDB is desirable.
• Exceptional analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple fast‑paced projects.
• Proactive, curious mindset with a strong sense of accountability.
