Software Engineer – Operations

About the role

As a Software Engineer on the Happiness Delivery team, you will help shape the future of On’s customer experience by building core services for the Operations technology cluster. You will create intelligent, AI‑driven solutions that make every customer interaction smoother, improve satisfaction, and boost long‑term loyalty.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and ship high‑quality backend services using NestJs, Next.js and TypeScript.
• Build and consume GraphQL and RESTful APIs that power personalized support experiences.
• Model and manage relational data in PostgreSQL, ensuring scalability and reliability.
• Leverage cloud platforms (preferably GCP) and container orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Collaborate with frontend engineers to deliver seamless user interfaces.
• Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to a collaborative, cross‑functional team environment.

Required profile

• Strong background in backend development with a proven track record of shipping production‑grade software.
• Experience working in an agile, team‑oriented setting.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
