Software Engineer – £50k-£100k+ + Equity

About the role

Opfyx Ltd is building an AI‑enabled operations platform that replaces legacy infrastructure for the world’s largest airports, airlines and ground handlers. As a Software Engineer you will join a small, high‑impact team to design and deliver mission‑critical systems that run in live airport environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate highly available software for live aviation environments using Rust and Flutter.
• Collaborate with product stakeholders to create distributed and federated architectures supporting complex operational workflows.
• Improve reliability, performance and user experience across the Opfyx AIR platform.
• Help shape engineering practices and standards as the team scales.

Required profile

• A self‑starter with strong full‑stack technical instincts and the ability to own projects end‑to‑end.
• Experience or a strong willingness to master a high‑performance stack including Rust, Flutter/Dart, gRPC, Apache Arrow and Postgres.
• User‑first mindset with the technical caliber to build scalable systems for an industry moving billions of passengers annually.
