Software QA Engineer – ISO/IEC Compliance

About the role

Join ZENOVO LTD’s collaborative engineering team as a Software Quality Assurance Engineer. You will define and drive the software quality strategy, ensuring that development processes and verification activities meet ISO and IEC standards. The role is on‑site three days a week in Bath, offering a chance to work on safety‑critical software that makes a real difference.

Key responsibilities

• Define, implement and maintain a software quality strategy across the full SDLC.
• Ensure development activities comply with ISO and IEC regulatory standards.
• Plan, execute and document unit, integration, system and acceptance testing.
• Create and maintain test plans, verification records and traceability documentation for audit readiness.
• Embed quality practices into every development stage through close collaboration with software engineers.
• Manage the defect lifecycle from logging to closure.
• Participate in design, code and change‑control reviews to address quality and regulatory concerns.
• Produce and keep up‑to‑date quality documentation within the QMS.

Required profile

• Permanent, unrestricted right to work in the UK.
• Strong software engineering background with practical SDLC experience.
• Demonstrated experience ensuring compliance with ISO/IEC standards.
• Ability to work on‑site three days per week and collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams.
