Solar & Battery Storage Installer

About the role

Join a rapidly expanding solar division of an established electrical contractor with almost 30 years of experience. You will be responsible for the safe, compliant and efficient installation of solar PV and battery storage systems on domestic and commercial sites across the South‑East.

Key responsibilities

• Install solar PV panels, inverters and battery storage units.
• Interpret technical drawings and installation plans accurately.
• Ensure all work meets quality, health and safety standards.
• Collaborate with installers, engineers and project managers.
• Support site preparation, equipment handling and system testing.
• Maintain clear and accurate installation records.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience in solar PV or battery storage installation.
• Strong understanding of UK electrical systems and 18th Edition wiring standards.
• Good problem‑solving ability and attention to detail.
• Physically fit, comfortable working at height.
• Proactive, safety‑focused and able to work well in a team.
• Full UK driving licence.
