Solar Design Project Manager

About the role

We are partnering with a fast‑growing renewable energy company that delivers cutting‑edge rooftop solar solutions for commercial and industrial clients across the UK. As a Solar Design Project Manager you will lead the design and optimisation of solar PV projects, ensuring they are technically sound, cost‑effective and aligned with client objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Visit sites and conduct feasibility studies to confirm optimal system designs.
• Use industry‑standard tools such as PV sol and Helio Scope to model and design energy systems.
• Prepare detailed cost breakdowns for components, labour and installation.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers and external partners to meet technical and regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to the development and integration of new technologies to improve business operations.
• Stay up‑to‑date with industry trends and emerging technologies.

Required skills

• Proficiency with PV sol software.
