Solar PV Maintenance Engineer – Full‑time

About the role

We are looking for a Solar PV Maintenance Engineer to join our award‑winning electrical engineering and sustainable solutions team. You will work on high‑end residential, educational and commercial sites across London and the South East, delivering installation, maintenance and upgrades of solar photovoltaic systems.

Key responsibilities

• Install, maintain and upgrade solar PV systems, including reactive repairs and fault finding.
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on inverters, modules and electrical components.
• Carry out site surveys, risk assessments and follow all HSE procedures.
• Complete and submit accurate documentation and service reports.

Required profile

• ECS Gold Card.
• Full UK driving licence.
• City & Guilds 2391 or 2394/5 (or equivalent) 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• Minimum one year experience in solar PV installation and maintenance.
• Clean DBS record.

Required skills

• ECS Gold Card certification.
• Full UK driving licence.
• City & Guilds 2391 or 2394/5 qualification.
• Knowledge of 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
