About the role

This position offers a qualified solicitor the chance to join a thriving Private Wealth and Inheritance team within a respected regional law firm. You will work on a varied caseload of private client matters, providing tailored advice to individuals and families.

Key responsibilities

• Manage wills, trusts, probate, inheritance tax planning and estate administration matters.
• Maintain direct client contact and deliver personalized advice.
• Draft and review legal documentation for private clients.
• Collaborate with other departments to provide comprehensive solutions.
• Contribute to business development activities.
• Participate in a structured development programme to support career progression.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor with 1‑3 years post‑qualification experience in Private Wealth, Inheritance or a closely related area.
• Strong technical foundation in wills, trusts, probate and inheritance tax planning.
• Excellent client care skills and ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism.
• Professional, empathetic approach and strong communication abilities.
• STEP qualification highly desirable or willingness to work towards it.
