Solution Architect – Azure Cloud for Financial Services

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect to join a leading financial services organisation that is undergoing a major cloud transformation. The role will focus on designing and governing Azure‑based solutions that meet strict regulatory and security standards while enabling business agility.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver enterprise‑scale solutions using Microsoft Azure services and cloud‑native technologies.
• Lead architecture activities across cloud migration, application modernisation and integration programmes.
• Produce high‑level and detailed solution designs ensuring scalability, security, resilience and operational effectiveness.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders, engineering teams and business leaders to translate requirements into robust architectures.
• Define integration approaches across applications, data platforms and third‑party services.
• Ensure compliance with security, governance, risk and regulatory standards throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide technical leadership and architectural governance to drive best practices across teams.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Solution Architect in complex enterprise environments.
• Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure, including platform services, integration and migration strategies.
• Strong background delivering cloud transformation and modernisation programmes.
• Experience designing enterprise‑scale solutions covering applications, data and infrastructure.
• Solid understanding of architecture frameworks, governance, security and risk management.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
