Solutions Developer – Digital Solutions Team

About the role
The University of Staffordshire is looking for a Solutions Developer to join its Digital Solutions Team. You will help design, build and test high‑quality software that supports teaching and learning across the campus.
Key responsibilities
- Write, test and debug code for mobile and web applications.
- Participate in code reviews and collaborate with team members on project tasks.
- Develop unit tests, perform manual testing and assist in bug fixing.
- Maintain accurate documentation and update existing software.
- Provide technical and user support for digital systems.
- Work on projects involving mobile apps, web apps, databases, Dynamics 365, Halo ITSM, automation, analytics, machine learning and AI.
Required profile
- Experience in software development and working with databases.
- Knowledge of languages and frameworks such as NestJS, PL/SQL and SITS SRL.
- Strong problem‑solving ability and attention to detail.
- Curious, daring attitude with a passion for technology.
