Sourcing Manager - IT & Indirect Procurement

About the role

We are partnering with a leading financial services organisation to hire an experienced Sourcing Manager to join a high‑performing procurement team in Leeds. The role focuses on strategic sourcing across IT/Technology and indirect spend, delivering commercial value while managing risk and governance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end strategic sourcing and tender activities for IT and indirect categories.
• Negotiate with suppliers, benchmark markets and drive commercial value.
• Manage supplier onboarding, contract reviews, risk assessments and performance issues.
• Support contract governance and ensure robust commercial controls.
• Advise stakeholders on total cost of ownership and supplier risk considerations.
• Build strong relationships across the business to influence decisions and promote best‑practice procurement.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Sourcing Manager, Procurement Manager or Category Manager.
• Strong strategic sourcing and category management expertise, particularly in IT/Technology or indirect spend.
• Excellent negotiation, influencing and stakeholder management abilities.
• Knowledge of supplier risk management and contract governance.
• Ability to work at pace, manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a complex environment.
• Track record of delivering procurement savings and commercial benefits.
• Experience in a regulated industry or financial services is advantageous.
