Spa Reception Manager – Front of House Leader

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Reception Manager to lead the front‑of‑house team at our wellness spa venue. You will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a seamless, welcoming experience while overseeing daily operations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily front‑of‑house operations during assigned shifts, including opening and closing procedures.
• Lead and motivate the reception team, conduct regular meetings and performance appraisals.
• Handle customer enquiries, bookings, and resolve complaints promptly.
• Coordinate VIP, journalist and press arrivals to deliver a flawless experience.
• Maintain spa public areas to high cleanliness standards and oversee facility upkeep.
• Oversee food & beverage service, stock control and allergen training for staff.
• Manage staff rotas, absences, holidays and ensure accurate payroll processing.
• Conduct inventory checks of towels, robes and other stock, and place orders as needed.
• Ensure GDPR compliance at reception and maintain reception equipment functionality.
• Collaborate with Spa Manager and Director on revenue‑growth initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in a hospitality or spa environment.
• Excellent customer‑service orientation with strong communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced setting and handle multiple priorities.
• Attention to detail and commitment to high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
