Spa Receptionist – Luxury Resort

About the role

The Spa Receptionist is the first point of contact for guests and members at the Fairmont Spa, delivering a warm, polished and luxurious welcome. You will support the smooth operation of the front‑of‑house area, ensuring every interaction reflects the resort’s 5‑star standards.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests, members and colleagues with a service‑focused attitude.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of spa services, treatments and promotions.
• Answer telephone calls promptly and professionally.
• Manage guest arrivals and departures, creating seamless first and last impressions.
• Keep the front‑of‑house area immaculate and styled to luxury standards.
• Handle guest concerns with care, escalating when necessary.
• Complete daily checklists and handovers accurately.
• Promote spa services, treatments and retail opportunities.
• Process cash, floats and safe procedures in line with company policy.
• Utilise the Jonas booking system for reservations and guest management.
• Perform administrative tasks and support management as required.
• Follow health, safety, accident reporting and emergency procedures.

Required profile

• 1–2 years experience in a spa, hotel or luxury front‑of‑house environment (preferred).
• Strong customer‑service and communication skills.
• Polished, professional telephone manner.
• Excellent organisational abilities and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Jonas booking system.
