Spanish Management Accountant

About the role

Marc Daniels is seeking a Spanish‑speaking Management Accountant to join a global market‑leading organisation. Based in Slough with hybrid working, the role supports a key Spanish entity and offers the chance to deepen technical accounting expertise in an international environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and raise monthly customer invoices, resolve invoice queries and monitor aged debt.
• Process supplier and employee payments, manage credit‑card transactions and reconcile aged creditors.
• Post receipts and payments, perform bank reconciliations and produce weekly cash‑flow forecasts.
• Prepare and submit Spanish and European VAT returns, including Intrastat where required.
• Assist with stock movement reconciliations and support stock valuation processes.
• Generate month‑end schedules, fixed‑asset, pre‑payment and accrual entries, and complete inter‑company reconciliations.
• Support external audits, year‑end reporting and ad‑hoc finance projects.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in an accounting role.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
• Exposure to European accounting regulations is advantageous.
• Fluency in both English and Spanish.
• Advanced Excel proficiency.
