About the role
Reeson Education is supporting a ‘Good’ secondary school in Lambeth that seeks an enthusiastic Spanish Teacher to join its modern MFL department from September 2026. The role is part‑time on a contractual basis, offering the chance to work in a supportive, culturally diverse environment.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver the Spanish curriculum in line with the latest examination specifications for KS4/5.
- Prepare and follow departmental schemes of work and lesson plans.
- Record student attendance and progress using the SIMS system.
- Assess, mark and provide feedback on student work according to school policies.
- Maintain classroom discipline following the school’s behaviour policy.
- Participate in in‑service training, observations and departmental meetings.
Required profile
- Proven experience teaching Spanish to Key Stage 4 and 5 students.
- Strong classroom practice with a focus on high‑quality teaching and learning.
- Ability to inspire pupils and promote Spanish as a vibrant subject.
- Willingness to contribute to subject development and support fellow staff.
Required skills
- Proficiency with SIMS (school information management system).
- Competence in using ICT resources for lesson delivery.
