Spanish Teacher – Temp to Perm (East London)

About the role

Prospero Teaching is looking for a fully qualified Spanish Teacher to join a secondary school in East London on a temp‑to‑perm basis. The role starts in September 2025 and involves teaching Spanish across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the possibility of delivering KS5 for the right candidate.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Spanish lessons for KS3 and KS4 students.
• Assess and track student progress, raising attainment in the subject.
• Collaborate with the Modern Foreign Languages department to share best practice.
• Participate in parent evenings and departmental meetings.
• Maintain strong classroom behaviour management.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with proven secondary teaching experience.
• Degree in Spanish or a related subject and a PGCE/SCITT/Teach First qualification.
• Experienced teacher – not open to newly qualified teachers.
• Right to work in the UK and an enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
• Two professional child‑related references.
