Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teacher – Specialist School

About the role
We are seeking a qualified SEN Teacher to join a specialist SEN/SEMH setting. The role involves planning, delivering and assessing tailored lessons for pupils with a range of special educational needs.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, deliver and assess personalised lessons for pupils with Autism, ADHD, SEMH and complex learning difficulties.
- Collaborate closely with support staff, therapists and parents to achieve the best outcomes for each learner.
- Implement a variety of strategies and interventions to support behaviour and emotional regulation.
- Monitor pupil progress and maintain accurate records of achievement.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience in a specialist school or working with SEN pupils.
- Nurturing, patient and flexible approach.
- Strong classroom management and behaviour support skills.
- Genuine passion for supporting pupils with additional needs.
