About the role
We are looking for a passionate SEN Tutor to provide one‑to‑one educational support to a student with Special Educational Needs in the Margate area. This role offers the chance to deliver personalised learning, build confidence and help the student achieve their full potential in a supportive environment.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, tailored 1:1 lessons based on the student's individual learning needs.
- Adapt teaching methods to suit a range of SEN requirements.
- Build a positive, trusting relationship that encourages learning and personal development.
- Track progress and provide regular feedback to the student and parents.
- Collaborate with parents, schools, and other professionals where appropriate.
Required profile
- Experience working as an SEN Tutor or supporting students with Special Educational Needs.
- Patient, caring, and adaptable approach.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to plan creative and engaging lessons.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
- Right to work in the UK.
