Specialist Biologics Pharmacist

About the role

This internal secondment offers a 6‑month opportunity for an experienced pharmacist to join the Pharmacy Biologics Team. You will work alongside multidisciplinary clinicians to optimise the use of high‑cost biologic medicines and support service improvements that enhance patient care and sustainability.

Key responsibilities

• Support safe, effective and cost‑efficient use of biologic therapies across multiple specialties.
• Participate in clinical and financial governance processes related to high‑cost medicines.
• Lead medicines optimisation initiatives and contribute to quality‑improvement projects.
• Develop and implement service development and change‑management activities.
• Build relationships with clinical teams and provide leadership in stakeholder engagement.
