Specialist Doctor – Anaesthetics (6‑week locum)

About the role

This 6‑week locum position as a Specialist Doctor in Anaesthetics at Causeway Hospital starts on 25 May. You will work according to the hospital rota and provide first‑on‑call anaesthetic and ICU cover.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver anaesthetic care for surgical patients.
• Act as the first on‑call specialty doctor/registrar in anaesthetics.
• Provide intensive care unit (ICU) cover as required.
• Follow the established hospital rota and protocols.

Required profile

• Valid GMC registration with a full licence to practice.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Minimum six months experience in anaesthetics or a similar role within the UK.
• Previous experience as a first on‑call specialty doctor/registrar in anaesthetics, competent to provide ICU cover.
