Specialist Hygiene Technician – Bristol

About the role

Rentokil Initial is looking for a Specialist Hygiene Technician to join its Bristol team. You will deliver a variety of hygiene and cleaning services to customers across Bristol and surrounding areas, with full training provided.

Key responsibilities

• Provide reactive hygiene cleaning services including bio‑hazard, flood water damage, infection control, police and prison cell cleaning, sharps removal, trauma and crime‑scene cleaning.
• Carry out technical cleaning tasks such as factory, high‑level, silo and confined‑space cleaning.
• Work on an on‑call rota, typically twice a quarter, and adapt to changing weekly priorities.
• Offer advice to customers and maintain a professional image at all times.

Required profile

• Full UK driving licence held for at least two years with no more than six penalty points.
• Self‑motivated, reliable and proactive with excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Flexibility to work varied patterns and support business needs.
• Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
• Willingness to undergo a DBS check where required.

• Competitive salary starting at £26,655 per year, with OTE up to £38,000 including bonus and commission.
