Specialist Lending Paraplanner – Property Finance

About the role

Our client, a specialist private finance firm, is expanding its property finance team. They are seeking an experienced Specialist Lending Paraplanner to lead the technical side of bridging and development finance transactions, from market research through to deal packaging.

Key responsibilities

• Structure complex bridging and development finance deals and conduct in‑depth lender market research.
• Approach lenders, negotiate terms and manage relationships until indicative offers are secured.
• Run development finance cases from enquiry to full assessment, including appraisal, feasibility and GDV analysis.
• Review internal documentation, build robust credit narratives and ensure underwriting quality before submission.
• Perform EBITDA analysis and assess borrowing capacity for healthcare and business finance cases.

Required profile

• Proven experience in bridging and/or development finance.
• Strong credit instincts and solid knowledge of the UK lender market.
• Confidence with commercial and EBITDA analysis.
• Meticulous attention to detail and ability to work independently on technical tasks.
