About the role
We are seeking a Specialist Mentor ASC to provide individualized academic support to students with autism and specific learning difficulties at Arts University Bournemouth. The role is part‑time with flexible hours, starting September 2026.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement personalized learning plans for students.
- Provide one‑to‑one academic mentoring and guidance.
- Collaborate with teachers and support staff to monitor progress.
- Utilize educational technologies to enhance learning.
- Maintain accurate records of student support activities.
Required profile
- Passion for student well‑being and success.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Completion of National Autistic Society (NAS) training modules (training support provided).
Required skills
- Proficiency in using educational technology tools.
