Specialist Nurse – Children & Young People (Full‑time, Bristol)

About the role
Spire Bristol Hospital is looking for a Specialist Nurse to provide high‑quality pre‑ and post‑surgical care for children and young people. The role is full‑time and permanent, based on‑site in our Bristol facility.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver excellent pre‑ and post‑surgical care to paediatric patients.
- Assist in clinics, minor operations and recovery areas.
- Support family‑centred care, addressing health and wellbeing needs.
- Communicate complex, sensitive, or contentious information appropriately.
- Promote best practice in health and safety, security and safeguarding of children.
Required profile
- NMC‑registered Nurse with a Children’s qualification and no restrictions.
- Previous experience in a surgical setting is advantageous.
- Recovery experience preferred, though training can be provided.
