About the role

Join the Specialist Pharmacy Service (SPS) Medicines Advice team in London to provide expert, evidence‑based guidance on the safe and effective use of medicines across England. You will support healthcare professionals and policy makers in optimising medicines use and improving patient safety.

Key responsibilities

• Provide clinical medicines advice to healthcare professionals in primary and community care.
• Research, critically appraise evidence and deliver clear, timely responses.
• Contribute to national resources and support medicines optimisation initiatives.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues across England and support service development.

Required profile

• GPhC‑registered pharmacist with strong clinical knowledge.
• Excellent communication, problem‑solving and organisational abilities.
• Ability to appraise evidence and produce high‑quality written advice.
• IT literacy and willingness to learn digital tools.
