Specialist Security Driver

About the role

The Specialist Security Driver will operate an armoured vehicle to transport high‑value assets for luxury‑goods clients, high‑net‑worth individuals and international banks. This full‑time position requires a high level of vigilance, professionalism and customer service while ensuring the safety of valuable shipments.

Key responsibilities

• Perform pickups and deliveries of high‑value shipments such as cash, jewellery, gold, diamonds and fine art.
• Load and unload the armoured vehicle safely and efficiently.
• Maintain strict adherence to road‑safety regulations and company security procedures.
• Provide excellent customer service and represent the client’s brand at trade shows and special events.
• Complete daily vehicle checks, reports and documentation.
• Respond to ad‑hoc requests and support additional security operations as needed.

Required profile

• Full clean UK driving licence.
• Valid SIA licence or demonstrable experience in security‑focused roles.
• Strong ethics, integrity and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and maintain a professional demeanour.
• Collaborative attitude and excellent communication skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and optional weekend shifts.

Required skills

• Professional driving licence (Full clean UK licence).
• SIA licence or equivalent security experience.
