About the role
We are seeking a Specialist Speech and Language Therapist to join our in‑house clinical team at Oaktree School in Truro. You will work collaboratively with the education team to deliver bespoke assessment and intervention for pupils who have experienced developmental trauma, are neurodivergent, or have SEMH needs.
Key responsibilities
- Provide Speech and Language Therapy assessment and intervention tailored to individual pupils.
- Maintain a full caseload with support from a clinical supervisor and site lead.
- Contribute to staff training, consultation and multidisciplinary meetings.
- Follow the OFG Speech and Language Therapy Ways of Working and professional regulatory standards.
Required profile
- Undergraduate or postgraduate degree in Speech and Language Therapy and HCPC registration (or equivalent).
- Minimum two years’ experience as a fully registered member of the RCSLT in a similar setting.
- Experience working with complex communication profiles, neurodiversity and trauma‑informed practice.
- Proven ability to work within multidisciplinary teams and engage with families and carers.
