About the role

We are seeking a passionate Speech and Language Therapist (HCPC registered or eligible) to join a specialist school in Billingshurst. The role is part‑time, term‑time only, and involves supporting children and young people with complex communication needs.

Key responsibilities

Deliver individual and group therapy programmes linked to EHCPs.
Assess speech, language and communication needs.
Develop and implement Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) strategies and resources.
Support safe eating and drinking practices.
Collaborate with teachers, families and external professionals.
Prepare reports and contribute to multidisciplinary meetings and reviews.

Required profile

HCPC registered (or eligible) Speech and Language Therapist.
Strong assessment, planning and communication abilities.
Commitment to safeguarding and a collaborative approach.
