Sports Coach – Full‑Time (Liverpool)

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Sports Coach to join a welcoming, inclusive school in Liverpool. You will inspire pupils across year groups, promote healthy lifestyles and deliver engaging physical education sessions throughout the school day.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high‑quality PE lessons and a variety of sports activities.
• Lead lunchtime and after‑school sports clubs.
• Support pupils of all abilities, adapting activities for those with additional needs.
• Assist teachers with classroom activities when required.
• Encourage teamwork, resilience and positive behaviour.
• Help organise school sporting events, competitions and enrichment activities.

Required profile

• Experience coaching children or young people in a school or community setting.
• Excellent communication and behaviour‑management skills.
• Positive, proactive attitude with a passion for physical education.
• Commitment to safeguarding and child welfare.
• Experience with SEND, SEMH or behavioural needs is an advantage but not essential.

Required skills

• Relevant coaching qualification (desirable but not essential).
