SSAS Associate – Pension Administrator

About the role

We are seeking a knowledgeable and driven SSAS Administrator to join our Operational Team. You will manage a portfolio of SSAS clients, delivering full cradle‑to‑grave administration while maintaining high standards of technical accuracy and customer service. The role also involves building strong relationships with clients and advisers and ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal policies.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of SSAS scheme administration for your allocated portfolio, meeting accuracy and deadline targets.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and their advisers to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with internal procedures and external regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date scheme data across operational systems.
• Prioritise workload effectively to meet deadlines.
• Identify and undertake ongoing learning to enhance individual and team capability.
• Demonstrate company values of professionalism, excellence, empathy, and respect.
• Contribute ideas and solutions to improve processes and client outcomes.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and Health & Safety guidelines.

Required profile

• Sound knowledge of SSAS or SIPP pensions.
• Understanding of SSAS property investments and loan backs, with good knowledge of member benefits.
• Experience in client and/or relationship management.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload effectively.
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining strong attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Positive, proactive, and enthusiastic approach.
• Ability to build and maintain strong internal and external relationships.
