Staff Machine Learning Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Staff Machine Learning Engineer to lead the technical direction of our ML initiatives in a fast‑growing technology scale‑up that powers personalised digital advertising and customer engagement. The role is fully remote, allowing you to collaborate with international teams while owning end‑to‑end ML products.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive the technical strategy for machine learning and MLOps across the organisation.
• Design, build and optimise recommendation, bidding, attribution and audience‑targeting models.
• Lead model monitoring, automated retraining, experimentation and production deployment pipelines.
• Improve scalability, reliability and real‑time performance of ML systems.
• Partner with engineering and business leaders to align ML work with commercial objectives.
• Mentor senior engineers and champion best‑practice standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience building and deploying machine‑learning systems at scale.
• Strong background in recommendation systems, LTV/churn modelling, attribution or audience targeting.
• Deep understanding of MLOps, model lifecycle management and production environments.
• Experience in AdTech, programmatic advertising, DSP or real‑time bidding is highly desirable.
