Staff Mobile Engineer

About the role

Tide is looking for a Staff Mobile Engineer to lead the design, creation and operation of its product catalogue across business areas such as Payments Service and Business Service. You will work in small autonomous teams, shaping engineering practices and influencing the Global One Platform.

Key responsibilities

• Define vision and strategy for mobile products, translating roadmap features into well‑engineered solutions.
• Act as a technical lead, advocating best practices, automation, and data‑driven decisions while mentoring less‑experienced engineers.
• Collaborate with product owners, UI/UX designers, architects and other engineers in multi‑disciplinary agile teams.
• Contribute to the Flutter Community of Practice, improving processes and maintaining high code quality.

Required profile

• Several years of experience as a Software Engineer building mobile applications with Flutter, native iOS/Android or React Native.
• Passion for building great products in small, autonomous, agile teams.
• Strong interest in automation testing and writing testable, high‑performance code.
• Experience leading mobile engineers and mentoring junior developers.
