Staff Nurse – Community Treatment and Care (CTAC)

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Staff Nurse to join the Community Treatment and Care (CTAC) team in Cheviot. The role is fixed‑term until 31 March 2027 and involves delivering high‑quality, person‑centred care across the Kelso, Coldstream and Jedburgh area.

Key responsibilities

• Provide safe, effective nursing care to patients in the community, adhering to NHS standards.
• Travel to patients’ homes and local facilities using a personal vehicle.
• Maintain accurate patient records and utilise IT systems for documentation and communication.
• Work autonomously in a fast‑paced environment while collaborating with the multidisciplinary team.
• Contribute to the delivery of family‑friendly services during Monday‑Friday hours.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse with a current UK nursing registration.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
• Full, clean driving licence and access to a vehicle for travel.
• Willingness to undergo training; prior experience is advantageous but not mandatory.

Required skills

• Proficiency in using IT systems for clinical documentation.
