Staff Nurse (CTAC West)

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and adaptable Staff Nurse to join the Community Treatment and Care (CTAC) team in the Peebles area. The role involves delivering high‑quality, person‑centred care to patients across the CTAC West region.

Key responsibilities

• Provide effective, compassionate nursing care in community settings.
• Work autonomously in a busy, fast‑paced environment.
• Utilise IT systems for patient documentation and communication.
• Travel between Peebles, Innerleithen and West Linton as required.
• Maintain professional standards and adhere to NHS Scotland policies.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse with a commitment to high‑quality care.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
• Full, valid driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Willingness to undertake full training if experience is limited.
• Availability for family‑friendly hours, Monday‑Friday.

Required skills

• Proficiency with IT systems used in healthcare settings.
