Staff Nurse – Eating Disorders Unit

About the role

The Eden Unit is the Regional Inpatient Eating Disorder Service for the North East of Scotland. We are looking for a motivated Staff Nurse to join our multidisciplinary team, supporting patients with eating disorders and related co‑morbidities.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care on a rotational day and night shift pattern.
• Deliver evidence‑based therapeutic interventions such as CBT, Family Based Therapy and Art Therapy.
• Participate in patient formulation meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions.
• Support the induction of new staff and undertake further training, including the EEATS accredited course.
• Collaborate with NHS Grampian, Highland, Tayside and external services to ensure seamless patient pathways.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse (RN), Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) or Nursing Graduate (NGN) willing to work rotational shifts.
• Interest in eating‑disorder care; prior experience is advantageous but not essential.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and teamwork.
