Staff Nurse – Health Visiting Team (Surrey)

About the role

We are looking for a Staff Nurse to join our Health Visiting Team in Surrey. You will work within a Healthy Family Team delivering preventative and supportive care to children, young people and their families, both in homes and community settings.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, monitor and provide targeted support to vulnerable children and families at risk.
• Deliver the Healthy Programme under the supervision of a Specialist Community Public Health Nurse.
• Work collaboratively with health visitors, schools and family hubs to promote public health.
• Maintain documentation and complete all tasks within the designated competency framework.
• Contribute to service improvement ideas and participate in local and national award programmes.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse (NMC‑registered) with a commitment to community health.
• Experience or interest in health visiting, public health or child/family services.
• Ability to work autonomously within a multidisciplinary team and follow delegated authority.
• Strong communication skills for engaging with families, schools and partners.
