Staff Nurse – Neuro Rehabilitation

About the role

The Devonshire Unit is an 18‑bed Neuro Rehabilitation ward based in Stockport, joining the Northern Care Alliance in March 2026. As a Staff Nurse you will work within a multidisciplinary team to support adult patients recovering from acquired or traumatic brain injuries, spinal injuries and prolonged disorders of consciousness.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality nursing care to patients throughout their rehabilitation journey.
• Collaborate closely with doctors, allied health professionals and discharge planning colleagues.
• Support complex discharge planning and coordinate with community services.
• Maintain accurate patient records and contribute to multidisciplinary reviews.
• Promote patient safety, dignity and compassionate care.

Required profile

• Registered Adult Nurse (RN) with a commitment to excellent patient care.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with the MDT.
• Demonstrated compassion for patients and their families.
