Staff Nurse – Outpatients (12‑month Fixed‑Term)

About the role

Ramsay Health Care UK is seeking a Staff Nurse to join the Outpatients team at Fulwood Hall Hospital in Preston. This 12‑month fixed‑term position involves providing pre‑assessment and outpatient care, ensuring patients receive safe, high‑quality treatment in a supportive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct pre‑assessment and routine outpatient clinical procedures.
• Deliver patient‑centred care while adhering to Ramsay’s safety and quality standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient pathways.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and the Ramsay Academy training programmes.

Required profile

• Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
• Previous experience working within an outpatient department.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Flexible, positive attitude and empathetic character.

Required skills

• Clinical assessment and patient documentation.
• Familiarity with hospital information systems.
