Staff Nurse – Theatre Scrub (Full‑time)

About the role

Join the Theatre department at Rowley Hall and Beacon Park Hospital as a Scrub Nurse. You will work in modern operating theatres equipped with laminar airflow systems and state‑of‑the‑art technology, supporting a variety of surgical specialties.

Key responsibilities

• Support surgical procedures as a scrub nurse in the theatre department at Rowley Hall and Beacon Park Hospital.
• Prepare and maintain sterile instruments and equipment for specialties including orthopaedics, general surgery, gynaecology and urology.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anaesthetists and theatre staff to ensure smooth workflow and patient safety.
• Assist with documentation and compliance with infection‑control standards.

Required profile

• Current NMC registration with no restrictions.
• Experience working as a scrub nurse across multiple surgical specialties.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Flexible, positive attitude and empathetic approach to patient care.
