Staff Product Designer – Design Systems

About the role

Deel is looking for a Staff Product Designer to lead its Design System team. You will shape a best‑in‑class design system that powers consistent, accessible, and scalable experiences across all Deel products on web and mobile.

Key responsibilities

• Own the evolution, documentation, and adoption of Deel’s design system.
• Maintain and improve UI components and patterns for consistency and scalability.
• Ensure the system meets accessibility standards and supports localization.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and research teams to embed the design system into workflows.
• Define guidelines, create reusable assets, and drive governance across product teams.
• Mentor designers and advocate for design‑system thinking throughout the organization.

Required profile

• Extensive experience designing complex SaaS products.
• Proven track record of building and scaling design systems.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating UI component design, accessibility, and localization.
• Excellent communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
