Static Multi Skilled Engineer – Facilities Management

About the role

We are seeking a Static Multi Skilled Engineer to join a leading facilities management team in Manchester. You will be responsible for maintaining plant and building services within a historic commercial leisure facility, ensuring safe and efficient operation.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance across the site.
• Service air handling units and maintain HVAC systems.
• Resolve plumbing issues and perform minor electrical works.
• Test emergency lighting, check fire alarm systems, and conduct regular lift inspections.
• Diagnose faults and complete repairs on a variety of building systems.

Required profile

• Previous experience in mechanical or electrical maintenance.
• Background in facilities or building management services.
• Hands‑on experience with HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems.
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Engineering.
• Knowledge of 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• Strong fault‑finding and repair capabilities.
