Static Multi‑Skilled Engineer

About the role

Randstad C&P are partnering with a national FM client to recruit a Static Multi‑Skilled Maintenance Engineer for a site in Hampshire. You will be responsible for keeping a wide range of hard and soft FM systems operating safely and in compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver planned and reactive maintenance on electrical, mechanical, BMS, fire, CCTV and water‑hygiene systems using CAFM software.
• Perform fault finding, statutory inspections, testing, calibration and remediate defects to meet contract requirements.
• Act as an Authorised Person under JSP375, issuing and closing permits‑to‑work and managing isolations.
• Prepare and follow risk assessments and method statements (RAMS) for all tasks, ensuring correct PPE and tooling.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and compliance documentation.

Required profile

• Qualified Electrician (18th Edition wiring regulations desirable) or equivalent.
• C&G 2391/2 Inspection and Testing qualification (training provided if not held).
• Engineering qualification at BTEC National Diploma or City & Guilds level.
• Valid First Aid at Work certificate and Authorised Person status in electrical and/or mechanical disciplines (training provided if not held).
• Ability to obtain UK SC Security Clearance.
• Full, valid UK driving licence for car and van.

What we offer

• Competitive salary £38,000‑£42,500 per year (depending on experience)
• Permanent, full‑time contract
• Monday‑Thursday 08:00‑17:00, Friday 08:00‑16:00
