STEM Work Experience – One‑Week Programme for Year 10‑13

About the role

Join Atelier Ten for a one‑week work experience programme designed for Year 10‑13 students who are passionate about science, technology, engineering or maths. You will gain real insight into careers that shape the built environment while working alongside experienced engineers and environmental designers.

Key responsibilities

• Work with a dedicated supervisor to develop essential engineering and design skills.
• Learn directly from professionals across mechanical, electrical and public health disciplines.
• Shadow team members in various disciplines to understand daily workflows.
• Complete a technical design task that challenges creativity and problem‑solving.
• Receive mentorship and support from two assigned team members.

Required profile

• Currently in Year 10, 11, 12 or 13.
• Strong interest in STEM subjects and the built environment.
• Enthusiasm, curiosity and willingness to learn.
• No prior experience required.
